Eisenhower High School student serves as page for Johnson in state House

Ian Kinney, a sophomore at Eisenhower High School, Yakima, recently served as a page in the Washington House of Representatives. He was sponsored by Rep. Norm Johnson, R-Yakima.
As a page, Ian’s duties include delivering messages and bills to lawmakers’ offices and to the House floor. Pages also spend time in the Legislative Page School learning about state government.
Ian is active in the boy’s swim and dive team, track and field, and the Eisenhower High School marching band. He is the 15-year-old son of Mike and Stephani Kinney of Yakima.
