Rep. Norm Johnson talks with KLCK

Rep. Norm Johnson, R-Yakima, talked with KLCK about legislation he is currently working on, including a bill on public disclosure.  Johnson says that many towns and cities are facing budgeting crises due to the extensive number of public records requests that they receive.  He is also targeting areas of concern related to critical access hospitals.  Johnson noted that he and fellow Republican Representative Gina McCabe recently hosted a breakfast with leaders from Goldendale.  Concerns being expressed at the table revolved around the economic impact of the closure of a local aluminum plant and subsequent downturns in the housing market.
