Rep. Norm Johnson re-opens 14th District office in Yakima

Now that the 105-day regular session of the Washington State Legislature is complete, Rep. Norm Johnson has re-opened his 14th District office in Yakima.

The district office closed while the Legislature was in regular session from Jan. 9 until April 23. During that time, Johnson maintained his office at the state Capitol. Although the Legislature was immediately called back into special session on April 24 by Gov. Jay Inslee, Johnson’s legislative assistant, Gale Sackman, returned to Yakima and has since been staffing the district office.

“Access to the people I serve is extremely important so that I can listen to their concerns, provide the help they need with state government, and represent their interests in Olympia. A district office provides local convenient access to our citizens,” noted Johnson, R-Yakima. “I invite folks to drop by and visit with us any time they have questions, comments or concerns about legislation and state government.”

The office is located at 421 North 20th Avenue, Yakima, 98902. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The phone number is (509) 454-7210.
